I am a retired Speech and Language
Pathologist. My 37 year career was my
passion. I had the opportunity to work with
students and young adults who experienced a
variety of difficulties with communication.
My husband and I are blessed to have two
daughters who are married to wonderful
spouses.
I have three grandsons ages, 12, 8
and 1.
I am a member of the Lititz Moravian
Church, Lititz Woman's Club and Lititz
Springs Park Board, including the July 4th
Event committee. At the present time, I am
the chairperson for the Development Committee and a member of the
Samaritan Counseling Center Board of Directors. My past history with the
Samaritan Counseling Center includes chairperson for the Silent
Samaritan luncheon for several years as well as being a Silent Samaritan.
I have personally experienced the value of counseling in difficult

Center to help others achieve strength, empowerment and healing through
professional counseling and therapy.

Lauren Slesser is a mother, activist,
singer, and financial professional from
Lancaster City. She has been leading
church music for more than two
decades and performs regularly in
Lancaster.
