Oakland, die-hard fans, nicknamed
the Raider Nation, don silver-andblack war paint. Across the bay in Santa
Clara, the San Francisco 49ers are slated to
play in new Levi's Stadium, with stadiumwide Wi-Fi and photovoltaic panels, in
2014. In San Diego, the Chargers play
downtown at Qualcomm Stadium.
Popular AT&T Park, a bay-front baseball stadium with bridge-and-city views,
is home turf for two-time World Series
Champions, the San Francisco Giants,
while the Oakland A's play across the bay at
O.co Coliseum. In Southern California,
watch the Dodgers near downtown L.A.,
the Angels in Anaheim,

await a new bayfront basketball stadium for
their Golden State Warriors. In Sacramento,
local fans (including mayor and former
NBA All-Star Kevin Johnson) have rallied to
keep the Kings in the state capital; plans are
in the works for a new downtown arena.
