Down Memory Lane Meet Villager Jean Dupree, who adores celebrating Mardi Gras in high style in The Villages. She’s eager to celebrate Fat Tuesday on Feb. 24 with her friends. Jean not only whips up costumes for her husband and herself, she also makes costumes for her neighbors, too. Break out the Beads The Pickleball Queens play pickleball for sheer enjoyment, while the Latinos of The Villages bowl and the Winifred Men’s Group play billiards. It’s all in the spirit of having a good time and enjoying one another’s company without the competitive stuff — just good ol’ clean fun. Just Friendly Competition The Southern Trace Chiropractic Center Silver Bullets softball team is celebrating their recent big title win in the Senior Softball USA Tournament of Champions.
