A HIGH-CALIBER CONTEST JUDGED BY AN
IMPARTIAL PANEL, the AGM Platinum Award
recognizes premier golf shops that demonstrate
excellence in a number of categories - such as
creativity, adaptability and revenue-generating
initiatives. While the competition was said to be close,
Havana Country Club scored a win and earned a spot
at the AGM Annual Retail Conference, hosted in the
Orange County Convention Center in Orlando on
Tuesday, January 21st.
"The award was a team effort," said retail manager
and buyer Larissa Knott. "It would not have been
possible without the help of my talented team and the
support of the staff at Havana Country Club." Although
Knott has been a buyer and merchandiser for 30 years,
her career in the Villages has just begun - and with
great success. "To receive it in my first year at The
Villages - it's incredible," she said. "It's an example of
our team's efforts and attention to Core Values. I try
to incorporate my passion for visual merchandising,
fashion, and apparel into doing my part in delivering
lasting experiences for our residents and contributing
to the success of The Villages."
