SLIDING
ZONE
This is a pitch shot, which is a high shot.
Lay out three quarters in a line on the
ground in front of the ball. The quarters
are going to be our " sliding zone. "
Think of it like baseball. When a baseball
player slides into second base, he doesn't
start sliding at the base - he starts sliding
before the base. So, think of the club
head as your feet. It leads you through
the hitting zone and lands anywhere in
between those three quarters.
