{ FOR THE Love OF LEARNING } ADJUST YOUR CHIPPING STROKE USING A COAT HANGER STEFANIE DELGRECO The biggest problem that I see people have around the greens is that they try to lift the ball up into the air, and so we see a lot of hinging with the wrists. This is a really simple drill you can do with something that is right in your closet. Take a coat hanger and line it up along the side of the club grip, and when you set up, lean the coat hanger onto your leading forearm. Doing that allows you to check through the swing if you can maintain that angle as you follow through. What you will see is if you use your hands and wrists too much, the coat hanger will come over to the other forearm instead of remaining along the leading side. It's a way to get your hands and wrists out of your chipping stroke. RIGHT 28 FEBRUARY 2021 WRONG
