Nearing the 12-year mark as a Villages Golf
Cars sales associate, Kim is proud to say she's given
countless residents the keys to their golf car lifestyle.
" This year, I made about 150 sales, " she
said. " Over the course of my career, there have
been a lot of interactions. I love it - just love it.
Everybody comes from somewhere, from all over
the world, such an eclectic community. They
have led interesting lives and careers and it's just
fascinating. Everybody has a story and it's great. "
Also a golf car owner and Villages resident, Kim
notes she owns a Yamaha, and has her share of
fun cruising around the community.
" I'm all about it, " she said, laughing. " I lived
on Lake Sumter Landing for 11 years, and I just
moved to (Village of) Linden in May. "
When asked where a resident should go once
they have their new wheels, Kim said, " Everywhere!
Explore - the exploring part is endless. You can
go up to Orange Blossom and all the way over the
Chitty Chatty Bridge. On a beautiful day, put some
miles on it - just get in and go. "

LOIS & DENISE FIND THEIR 'FUNHAVES' WITH KIM FISCHER-GEIGER
Colors and fabrics and paints, oh my!
When it comes to personalizing your new golf car,
there are choices, choices, choices. Village of Lake
Deaton residents Lois and Denise say they made
quicker work of choosing their home.
" You have no idea when you go in and say,
'I'm going to buy a cart today,' what that really
entails, " Lois said, laughing.
Luckily, the couple had lots of fun in the process
of picking their golf car at The Villages Golf Cars
in Brownwood Paddock Square. So much fun, in
fact, they've been back to see their salesperson Kim
three more times over the years as they upgraded
their wheels for something with newer features
and technology.
" When we bought our first golf car, we asked
Kim how long it would last, " Denise said. " It's like
your first new car; you think you'll keep it forever.
Kim told us it wouldn't wear out before we got the
itch to buy another, and she was exactly right. "
Racking up the miles, Lois and Denise take their
golf car from golf courses to recreation centers and
town squares.
