In our January issue, we introduced you to
New York natives Cindy and Jim May, who
retired in the spring of 2016 and began traveling
before they made their move to The Village of Marsh
Bend. While shopping for their new home, the couple
was charmed by the " Disneyland feel " of The Villages,
and the stunning sprawl of nature on display: the
colossal oaks, jagged rocks, rolling greens and the
view of the pond that grabs you from the door as you
enter their new home.
" We embarked on a new lifestyle, " Cindy said.
And many fun milestones have come on their journey.
They added a new member to the family, their playful
Maltese puppy Chloe, who is now old enough to
venture into the neighborhood.
" She's working with a trainer now, and we're
learning how to sit and stay - all the etiquette a
little dog needs to learn, " Cindy said. " She's about 16
weeks old now, and we're hoping at the end of her
training, she will be a good canine citizen. It's hard to
say 'no' to that little face. "
We're used to
taking courses, so we
look forward to the
Enrichment Academy.
