Go Play With Them
There is a playground at Lake Sumter Landing by Sonny’s Real Pit Bar-B-Q. Become a kid again and swing or slide with your grandchild.
With all the family pools in The Villages, it is no surprise that they are a hot spot for visiting grandchildren. Go cool off in the water.
One of the favorite pastimes in The Villages can cater to kids, too. Check out The Villages Golf Academy and take lessons with your grandkids.
A Fun Night In
Grab some blankets, build a fort in the living room and play a board game. Then snuggle in for some family time.
Camp Villages is starting soon. Check with the Recreation Department if you have grandchildren visiting in the summertime; they will love it.
They Came to Dance
We hear it all the time. Grandkids love dancing in the squares with their grandparents, and with nightly entertainment on both squares a dance floor is never far away.
There are two on-property movie theaters that always have the latest and hottest movies. Buy some popcorn and settle in for a good flick.
Sugar Them Up
The best thing about being a grandparent is having a great time with your grandkids, then sending them home. There are a multitude of ice cream and yogurt shops in The Villages. Go sugar them up.
