Maybe it's the ambience, the perfectly manicured parks and pristine outdoor spaces. Or maybe it's the
social opportunities, thousands of clubs, live music and recreational activities that keep the community
in high spirits. One thing is certain - every person and pet is living their best life here in The Villages.

MEET ANGEL & RUDY
Owners Tom & Teri Anthony

With one feathered friend and another with fur and a tail, Tom and Teri
have the best of both worlds - a bird and a dog. Angel is their English
cream golden retriever and Rudy is their watermelon-loving African grey
parrot. Angel is smart, sweet and eager to please - a perfect canine
companion. Rudy is an upbeat bird that likes to whistle throughout the
day. "Rudy was Teri's 50th birthday present," Tom said. "He mimics the
sound of the phone and whistles The Villages tune. Angel came to us
after our greyhound passed. We like to think she's a combo of all the
dogs we've loved over the years - she is truly our angel."
