FLIGHT CLUB
Villages Honor Flight Inc. flies veterans
to view war memorials in Washington,
D.C. This volunteer club supports the
flights by supplying guardians, greeters,

Helping Animals
THE HUMANE SOCIETY
This animal protection organization
prevents cruelty by rescuing and
caring for animals.

A network of donors, volunteers
and employees share a mission of
preventing and relieving suffering at
home and around the world. People
are needed in various capacities, such
as fundraising, disaster preparedness,
blood drives and advocacy.

LOVE INC OF THE
HEART OF FLORIDA
Volunteers are needed to answer calls
from the community and assist in the
Summerfield thrift store. A network of
nearly 40 churches donate items and
proceeds help people in need pay for
utilities, furnish homes, provide children
with birthday gifts and more. Visit

LADY LAKE CHRISTIAN
FOOD PANTRY
The Lady Lake pantry distributes
groceries once a month to families
in need. Volunteers are needed,
particularly truck drivers to pick up food
donations from local grocery stores.

COMMUNITY EMERGENCY
RESPONSE TEAM (CERT)
The CERT organization trains and
educates citizens about disaster
preparedness for hazards that may
impact their area. If a disaster happens
that overwhelms local response
capability, CERT members can apply
their training to give critical support to
their family, neighbors and community
until professional emergency personnel
arrive. CERT members also can assist
with nonemergency projects that
improve the safety of the community.
