Organize
Beyond the removal of clutter, creating
a room that is easy to navigate, highly
functional and free from the muddle of
small messes is easier than you think.
It all starts and ends with organization,
which can mean different things to
different people. Getting organized
may be a process in which you step
back, craft a list of 5-minute tasks, and
tackle one at a time with the goal of
improving the overall energy in the
room. If you are continually frustrated
because you can't seem to find what
you need in the kitchen, see if custom
shelving, storage containers or other
organizational tools can help you
eliminate the aggravations that bring
in bad energy.

Use essential oil diffusers, fragrant
candles and even pure incense to
infuse the air with aromas that evoke
a positive mood. Rachel S. Herz, an
assistant professor of psychology
at Brown University, explains that
scents can affect your mood and
behavior, based on your associated
memories with the odor. If the
smell of apple pie reminds you of
happy childhood gatherings in your
grandmother's farmhouse kitchen,
mimic the scent with dried potpourri
and allow yourself to enjoy the moodenhancing aroma.
