exhale Cincinnati - that's what Reeta
Brendamour's luxurious lanai offers her.
Recently, the retired lawyer came to The
Villages looking for a reprieve from the city and a quiet
little place to rent.
"My other home is right downtown, on a street
overlooking the Ohio River," Brendamour said. "I
thought I'd see how I liked The Villages and the next
thing I knew, I was building this."

Brendamour shows off the outdoor oasis that she
still can't believe is her own.
"I never had a pool before," she said. "Never. I always
thought it would be nice to have one to enjoy with
family and friends."
Brendamour presses a button and a flame blazes
orange inside her stacked stone fireplace.
"It cycles through different colors," she explains, as
LED lights glow green, blue, purple and red. Inside the
pool, fire flickers over rocks atop two black basins where
water spills, creating a dramatic visual effect.
Fire-water elements were among Brendamour's
must-haves while working with T&D Pool and
Spa Construction. Other items on her list included a
beach zone for her grandkids, a bar and lounge area,
a spa-like bathroom and an oversized outdoor storage
room to accommodate blowup sharks, pool noodles and
various other water toys and supplies.
"I also wanted a spot to root for my favorite teams,
watch golf and movies, and hang out with my
grandkids," she said.
