For anyone with a Facebook account,
Facebook Messenger is free and offers
texting, group chats and even video
chat. Even if you do not use the social
media aspect of Facebook, you still are able to keep in touch
with friends and family who do use it via Messenger. Create a
group of friends and/or family, individually chat with others,
or make a video call using your phone, tablet or computer.

on the iOS or Android app stores and
you will find dozens of results if you
are in the mood to play a game with
your friends or family. Better yet, play
games while using one of the video
chat services listed here and you'll have
plenty of opportunity to laugh with (or
at) your opponents!

Google Hangouts offers video and voice
calling, text chat and group messaging.
Group chats can support up to 150
users, and you also can message others even when they are
offline. Users can sync chats across devices, meaning you
can start a conversation on your computer and carry it over
to your phone whenever you log in.

SKYPE

Skype offers completely
free video calls and group
chat on cell phones, tablets and desktop or laptop computers. Call anyone using the app for free, or for a
small monthly fee, make calls to cell
phones or landlines. You also can
sign up for a local phone number,
and there are several other features
included with the app.

In today's connected world, it is easy
to stay in touch with the ones we
love. Using our phones, tablets and
computers, we can keep in touch
with friends and family, bringing
them right into our living rooms
and making memories even though
there are miles between us.
