The car doesn't only look perfect, it's been verified as
perfect. This is because Rich and Paige's Corvette was
tagged as a global audit car.
" It has a tag on it, " Rich said. " It says that this car
will be inspected with a fine-tooth comb at the end of
the assembly line. If there's anything wrong with it,
somebody's head could roll. "

Pennsylvania where the largest Corvette car show in
the world is held once a year. The car also came away
victorious in the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals held
in Chicago this year.
" It was deemed the best Corvette of that show, " Rich
recalled. " It scored 996 out of 1,000 points. The ultimate
goal is when you look at the car, your eye just flows down
the car. "
expects the car to make an epic return from Callaway Cars
in Old Lyme, Connecticut with an all-new supercharger
installed. The C8 already came with the potential to
reach up to 570 horsepower. Once he gets it back with
the supercharger installed, it should be able to reach 700
horsepower and speed up from zero to 60 in slightly over
two seconds.
If you asked Rich and Paige what made this innovative
design possible, it boils down to a relationship of love, trust
and loyalty that spans over 30 years.
" They don't do it with anyone else, " Rich said.
" Callaway is the only company that General Motors
shares data and engine management information with.
This all started with Callaway, with a shake of their hand.
There was never formal contracts because Callaway is an
extremely trustworthy company. That's what Callaway
and us had in mind when we started this project. "
