TWO STORES BEGIN REMODELING CENTER NEAR THE VILLAGES FAMILIAR FLOORING STORE OPENS LOCALLY Bo Barnes, owner of Best Flooring Center, is pleased to announce the opening of his fourth retail store. Bo said he is hoping to see familiar faces of residents who have visited Best’s locations in Clermont, Tavares and Fruitland Park at his new 9,000-square-foot showroom located near The Villages at 8590 East County Road 466 in Lady Lake. Bo built the building his business is located in and envisioned a one-stop remodeling shopping center with his business and three others. Kitchen and Bath Studio has moved in and opened next to Best Flooring Center, and he is hoping to be joined by an appliance store and a glass and mirror business. The individual stores have agreed to work together and have central coordination of major remodeling projects. “I had a desire to create a one-stop shopping for home interior and remodeling projects,” Bo said. It was set up for convenience and optimal customer service. The customers will benefit from the store owners being close together and having good working business relationships, he added. Bo’s business is a full-service flooring center offering carpet, wood, laminate flooring, tile and area rugs. Their professional staff will assist you in every aspect of your flooring remodel from measuring and Go & Do Retail Briefs floor selection to installation. They even offer a shopat-home service where the samples and salesperson come to you so you can view samples in your home. The five sales staff members at the new location each have between 10 and 25 years of experience in flooring, making the group one of the more experienced and knowledgeable staff in the area. One of their staff members is an ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) licensed interior designer. “One of the big flooring trends is wood and laminate flooring,” Bo said. “We carry every major manufacturer across the board in flooring and offer a great selection of wood types and colors.” Some of the brands the store carries are Andersen Hardwood, Armstrong, Mohawk and Quick Step. “Our second most popular sales item is tile. We specialize in tile for kitchen, bath and the exterior,” Bo said. One of the unique features the store offers customers is their Idea Center. Bo said they have photographs of completed floors from customers’ homes that can be searched by floor type. These photos can be viewed on large flat screens in the store to give customers a better idea of how a floor looks in a home. When the store is completed, it will also feature a 1,000-square-foot display area of area rugs, one of the largest in the area. “We will have thousands of styles, colors and size options to offer customers,” Bo said. “We also offer 12 months with no interest or payments for customers looking for financing options,” he added.
