Elegantlyappetizers Easy holiday Food holiday appetizers When fast, festive and fantastic is on the menu for holiday parties with family and friends, Angela McCue, manager of Market Square Mercantile, recommends Robert Rothschild Farm gourmet food products to speed your way to delicious appetizers. “These products are great for the host or hostess who enjoys homemade food but wants to make things quickly and taste delicious, too,” Angela said. Robert Rothschild Farm foods often are featured at the monthly wine tastings held from 5 to 6 p.m. at Market Square Mercantile on the third Thursday of each month. Angela said that among Villagers’ favorite Rothschild products are Anna Mae’s Smoky Sweet Oven and Grill Sauce, Raspberry Honey Mustard Pretzel Dip and several flavors of pasta sauces. “All the Rothschild products are delicious. They are one of our best-sellers in the store. They are made from the highest-quality ingredients, and people like that you can do so much with them. Most dips are great on their own, or they can be used in recipes to make something else,” Angela said. “We have free recipe sheets available that have several recipes featuring their products.” Angela said Market Square Mercantile is eagerly anticipating the arrival of Rothschild’s holiday gift packs. “Rothschild’s does a great job in designing gift packs for the holidays, and they were hugely popular with our customers. The small ones make excellent hostess gifts and their larger ones were very popular holiday gifts. People really liked the festive packaging, too,” Angela said.
