NOVEMBER 2009 4 Jumping Wake on Lake Miona 12 Art Group Presents Goldsboro Features Members of the Lake Miona Water Ski Club, one of the newest groups in town, are having fun enjoying their favorite sport on the waters of Lake Miona. Several Villagers reflect back to the days they began water skiing, and they reveal what keeps them motivated to continue the sport. Bobby Goldsboro is scheduled to perform at Savannah Center in January for his first concert in The Villages, featuring his beloved hit songs from the mid-1960s. The next day he plans to return with a show of his oil paintings. Proceeds from the art sales will go to a worthy cause — the scholarship fund of the Visual Arts Association. 20 Courses Open for Executive Golfers 26 Bluegrass Musicians Share Stage Cover Lloyd Rohlig and Pat Johnson enjoy skiing with the Lake Miona Water Ski Club, a newly formed club designed for water skiers of all skill levels.
