TEACHING EXCELLENCE
Every year during commencement exercises, faculty members from
each school and college are singled out by students for teaching excellence. This year’s recipients of the Chancellor’s Teaching Recognition
Award and the President’s Excellence in Teaching Award were Drs.
Ty Kiser (pictured upper right) and Doug Fish (pictured with comic
book), respectively.
The Chancellor’s Teaching Recognition Award is bestowed for demonstrated commitment to providing students a high quality learning experience and is awarded by the student governance group. The President’s
Excellence in Teaching Award is an acknowledgement of a faculty
member’s outstanding, innovative and inspirational contributions to the
students’ professional development and is awarded by the senior class.
