hether you are starting your day off or
"freshening up" after a long afternoon of
wine tasting, pampering takes on a new
meaning at Twist Studio Spa. Located at 1421 Spring Street,
this bustling beauty heaven will leave you feeling revived
and well-groomed.
Salon Director Kim Walker said the business is the
vision of owner and master makeup artist Lorie Twisselman,
who aimed to create a unique full service salon and spa
experience in Paso Robles.
"We have created a culture that we refer to as 'the Twist
way,'" said Walker. "It starts from the moment a client walks
through the door. Our goal is always to make our guests feel
very special, no matter what the service."
New guests always receive a tour of the facility,
which encompasses
hair, makeup, skin and
message services as well
as the adjoining Piazza
Bistro cafe. An array of
Aveda and Bumble &
Bumble products line the
well-stocked shelves.
Walker said couples
are encouraged to book
services together, whether
it be a relaxing massage
or the ever-popular "buzz and a brew" package.
"It's about the little things," said Walker. "When a client
gets her hair done, we offer a massage and a finishing touch
of makeup. This means a lot to people because when they
leave, they feel like they've enjoyed a complete service as
well as a whole new look."
