Power Tru-Block Introduces Failure-Free Surge Protection Products The Tru-Block series from Zero Surge, Inc. introduces safe, effective and reliable solutions delivering surge protection for one or more entire rooms (panel-mount versions) or for up to eight separate outlets (plugin versions designed for point-of-use applications). All integrate patented filter technology performing consistently over time without the performance compromise of conventional components that historically wear out or degrade in service. Wieland Expands Wipos P1 Single and ThreePhase DIN Rail Power Supplies with UPS and Redundancy Module Wieland Electric, Inc. now offers a DIN rail-mounted uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and redundancy module to increase the uptime and reliability of control systems. The P1 series switch-mode power supplies are designed for industrial applications in control panels. The single-phase models are available in 12 VDC, 24 VDC and 48 VDC outputs, with amperage ranges from 1.25 to 20 amps, and have a wide voltage input range (from 85 to 264 VAC and 90 to 375 VDC, depending on model). The P1 Power Supply series has an operating temperature of -40ºC to 70ºC, and provides full output power at 60ºC. Standard features include PFC technology, hold-up time of greater than 30 ms, adjustable output voltage, isolated status indicating contacts, and LED status. All P1 series modules are cULus and CE-listed. Certain models are UL 1310 Class 2 and Class 1 Division 2, hazardous location-rated. The R20 redundancy module is designed to connect two power supplies in parallel and is rated at 20 Amps, with two inputs for power supplies and up to 20 Amps for one output to the load. The inputs are actively monitored by LED and changeover (NO/NC) isolated contacts for failure/OK status facilitating quick troubleshooting. The 9PX UPS provides approximately 28 percent more power and is suitable for the protection of medium-to-high-density IT equipment in computer rooms and small data centers in industrial, manufacturing, medical and telecommunications applications. With a variety of available configurations designed to maximize availability and optimize flexibility, the 9PX is tailored to main distribution frame (MDF) and intermediate distribution frame (IDF) applications equipped with high density network switches. A graphical LCD interface built into the front of the UPS tilts 45° for optimal viewing, rotates to match rack and tower installations, and enables IT and data center managers to view detailed information as well as customize all UPS settings at the push of a button. Through the display and seamless integration with Eaton’s power management software, users are provided insight into UPS power usage and efficiency, enabling superior management of electrical consumption and energy footprint.
