Applied Motion Purchases Land for New Headquarters, Marking Another Step in Global
Growth of Moons' Industries

Last year it acquired Technosoft Motion AG located in Zug, Switzerland. Technosoft has pioneered the design and manufacture
of intelligent controller and drive in a single unit, as a cost-effective solution in many motion control applications, serving over 75
countries. Its iMOT line of intelligent brushless and step motors
combines an intelligent drive, a motor and a position sensor into
a single unit. The result is a compact cost-effective solution that
translates motion commands received through a communication
channel into mechanical motion.
Applied Motion Products announced recently that the company
has purchased land to build new corporate headquarters in
Morgan Hill, CA, located in Santa Clara County at the southern
tip of Silicon Valley. A manufacturer of motors and motion control
products, APM is a business unit of Moons' Industries.
The move marks another milestone in the continued growth
of Shanghai-based Moons', now a major supplier globally of
magnetic-based products such as permanent-magnet stepper
motors and lighting drivers powered by magnetic transformers.
The new headquarters for AMP will consolidate all its U.S. operations including production, warehouse, operations, engineering, customer service and executive management in one location
for greater efficiencies and synergy among the different depart
in the design
ments. The larger facility will accommodate growth
and manufacture of motion control products including step mo
tors, servo motors, drives and controls to meet growing
demand
while developing new innovations for different industries.

"The new corporate headquarters marks a milestone in Applied

Motion Products' growth," said Don Macleod, president and CEO
of AMP. "The size, layout and location will allow us to optimize
operations, better serve customers, accommodate business
expansion and proactively collaborate with other tech companies in Silicon Valley." Groundbreaking on phase one of the new
headquarters began in November 2019. Construction completion
is expected in December 2020. During the construction period,
operations will continue in the company's current Watsonville,
CA headquarters without interruption.

The Technosoft acquisition brought the company's footprint to a
new global level of having an operating network of integrated research and development, manufacturing, marketing and service
operations in Asia, North America and Europe for its motor business. The regional operation center is a key part for Moons' to
implement its global "Smart Micro Motion" strategy, the company
said.
