PulseR becomes iNRCORE and Expands Its
Magnetics Products for Industrial Markets

National Inspection Services Acquires
Magnum Midstream
National Inspection Services, a provider of magnetic particle inspection, eddy current testing and other non-destructive testing
(NDT) services, has acquired Magnum Midstream, expanding
NIS operations to the northeast section of the U.S.
Based in Canonsburg, PA and with several locations in the region, Magnum will become NIS' Northeast division. Established
in 2013, Magnum began as a small group of NDT technicians
in Hickory, PA and has since expanded its service coverage
throughout Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio and Texas. The
company has specialized in serving the midstream sector of the
oil and gas industry.

iNRCORE, the new name for PulseR, has launched a line of
industrial-grade magnetic components as it expands beyond its
traditional focus on military markets. The company announced
its name change in July, following a buyout in February by an
investment firm pledging new funding and aggressive growth
plans for the company.
Long a specialist in military-grade magnetic components, the
newest additions to its growing lineup are product families of
industrial-grade ethernet transformers, planar transformers,
shielded drum core inductors, common mode chokes, current
sense transformers and others that the company will roll out
over the duration of 2020. With ISO-9001qualified production,
lead-free options, and competitive pricing, they are designed
for high-performance projects that don't require military-grade
design but can't afford to sacrifice on quality and dependability,
said the company. Applications include medical, rail, EV charging, downhole, power grid and solar.

"National is proud to have the Magnum team
onboard because they share a dedication for
quality service and exceptional standards.
With this addition to our team, National now
has eight locations and services customers throughout Louisiana, Texas, Colorado,
Wyoming, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, West
Virginia, and Ohio," said Neil Marks, president and CEO.

and president of
NIS

Based in Scott, LA, NIS provides a full array
of NDT services and specializes in radiography examination of
conventional land-laid pipelines, serving the Gulf Coast region
particularly from multiple locations in Louisiana, Texas and
Colorado.

It began doing business as iNRCORE, LLC on July 1 with the
new name and brand but a continued commitment to design
and manufacture magnetic components that deliver high-speed,
mission-critical signal and power in the harshest operating
conditions.
iNRCORE also acquired Bicron Electronics of Torrington, CT
earlier this year. Purchase price was not disclosed but, evidently, the Bicron name on the sign outside its headquarters in
Torrington, CT, will remain. It will operate as a wholly-owned
subsidiary and neither its organizational structure nor its sales
points of contact will change, said iNRCORE.
"This year, we determined that the next step in our evolution is
to invest in our brand and align it with the exciting growth we
have planned for our business," said Sarah Harris, president &
CEO. In February, The Jordan Company, a private equity investment firm in Chicago, acquired a majority stake of PulseR,
with plans to provide funding for growth and expand the business.
