early November and aging the wine for a year

vineyards, combining elegance from Mirabella Eclano's sandy soils with power from
the clay soils of Montemarano. It ages for two

wine's scents of rose petal and pink peppercorn. Lithe and medium bodied, it broadens
with exposure to air, the black-plum flavors
giving way to more sanguine notes of smoked
sausage and rare sirloin. The cool, polished
tannins have a graphite-mineral tone; the
wine's tight structure and bright acidity
