Utilising the Red Hat Open Innovation Labs, Australia's Heritage Bank underwent a transformational
journey into digitalisation, adopting a different approach to delivering major projects via a new
methodology to help develop the needed capabilities for a real time payment requirement which had
taken years using traditional methods. With the help of Red Hat, the bank delivered working prototypes
under their strategic initiatives within just weeks, instead of months. The bank then saw increased
profits and had the highest customer satisfaction rating of any bank in the country for the second year
