Featuring leading innovations that are
paramount for live applications as well
as virtual and augmented reality (VR/
AR) studios, the G-Track is a multifaceted system that will greatly benefit
a variety of productions.
"The new 225 G-Track Generic Track
System is a welcomed addition to the
renowned line of Egripment products,"
says Richard Villhaber, Vice President
and Sales Director for Egripment. "The
entire 225 system is dynamic, allowing
the base to be manually controlled
for direct control by an operator,
completely computer-controlled and
fully automated for repetitive precision
and accuracy."
What's more, the base can be
mounted in a variety of positions,
such as on the floor or inverted from
the ceiling, and also with a straight or
curved track. This allows diversity in
utilisation and fulfils the production
needs that were once only envisioned
by users. It also consists of a small

G-Track dolly with Egripment's already
well-known smooth track wheels on a
narrow, high-speed steel track - with
sections available in several different
lengths - and has a maximum speed of
35 mph/56 km. The dolly is a motordriven unit positioned at the end of
the track with a subtle appearance but
dynamic design.
Egripment creates products that are
forward thinking and have working
compatibility with the company's
past, present and future products.
The 225-G Generic Track System works
seamlessly with Egripment's Remote
Broadcast products, Egripment's TDT
Encoded Camera Crane and Dolly and
Encoded StarCam Studio System and
a variety of remote heads, which can
be installed with or without a riser or
column.
With this complete modular system,
users have a very sophisticated multiaxis studio system, suitable for the
highest quality VR/AR and studio
automation at their control.

camBLOCK Announces Modular
Motion Control System

amBLOCK showcased the new
camBLOCK Modular 2.0 - a fully
featured, portable motion control
camera system for larger cinema
cameras
and
extreme
rugged
use - at the National Association of
Broadcasters (NAB) show in Las Vegas.
camBLOCK Modular 2.0 will be
able to handle rigs up to 25lbs with a
stronger, smoother and faster servo
motor drive train than the original
camBLOCK Modular. The system will
remain backwards compatible with all
original camBLOCK Modular's as well
as new CamBLOCK Adventure systems.
The system is ideal for use with
medium and larger modern cinema
cameras on location or in the studio.
"After years of development we are
really excited to bring the next level
camBLOCK Modular system to the
world. You no longer need to spend
six figures to get a rigged out camera
on a pro moco rig," said Stewart

CamBLOCK Adventure was also
showcased on the floor this year with
new functionality including Heden
motor compatibility, third party
joystick compatibility and advanced
interleaved multi-time lapse. It is
smaller, lighter and more portable
than the camBLOCK modular system,
having all three axis built into a single
compact unit that can be controlled
from a wireless mobile device.
camBLOCK Adventure is designed for
small to medium sized cameras such
as Digital SLRs and compact digital
cinema cameras. Pan, tilt and dolly
mechanisms are housed in a single
unit allowing for fast and easy setup.
One of the most innovative features of
the camBLOCK Adventure is its unique
tilt mechanism, allowing for a high
degree of nodal tilt without having any
bulky side support. This radical design

dramatically shrinks the system's
form factor. Key features of the
system also include an expandable
track system, built in camera
trigger, WiFi control
with an advanced
Android app.
