Hive Digital Centre's collectively
enable
approximately
1,000
journalists across the two locations
in Berlin and Bonn to deliver news
remotely in real-time.

LUMIX S1H Camera
USA: Panasonic LUMIX has
developed the LUMIX S1H
mirrorless camera, equipped with
a full-frame image sensor.
It is capable of video recording
at 6K/24p (3:2 aspect ratio),
5.9K/30p (16:9 aspect ratio), and
10-bit 60p 4K/C4K. The camera
has been designed and developed
especially for film production.
Its main features include high
resolution up to 6K for multiple
formats; rich gradation and a wide
colour space; and the ability to
record video non-stop under the
certified operating

within the DPP's Committed
to Security program. The DPP
launched the program in October
2017 to help technology providers
advance, hone and demonstrate
their commitment to security
best-practices. Participants are
assessed according to a rigorous
set of controls specifically applied
within the categories of Production
and Broadcast. This includes
policies and procedures, recovery
management and IT security,
and documentation and testing,
authentication and controls.

Acquires LiveU

rancisco Partners, a global
technology-focused private equity
firm, together with co-investor IGP
Capital, have acquired LiveU from its
existing shareholders.
Goldman Sachs acted as exclusive
financial advisor to Francisco Partners.
Samuel Wasserman, CEO and CoFounder of LiveU, said: "We are

Broadcast Solutions Trucks Deployed
For UEFA Europa League Final

T Sport recently broadcast the
UEFA Europa League Final with
the help of technology provider Baku
Media Center, together with Sunset +
Vine production company.
For the final, Baku Media deployed
their mobile production fleet, all
developed by Broadcast Solutions.
BT Sport screened the game on their
channels, as well as a free stream on
YouTube in UHD.
Broadcast Solutions has a longlasting relationship with Baku Media
Center.
The German company has delivered
several production vehicles, including
a 16-camera Streamline S16 trailer
plus support vehicle and DSNG. In
April this year, Broadcast Solutions
delivered an additional 12-camera OB

plus supporting truck to Baku Media
Center that was also in use at the UEFA
Europa League final.
The new OB truck is based on the
Streamline S8L design. Streamline OB
vans are pre-engineered production
vehicles. Due to the adjusted
Streamline concept, the S8L offers

three dedicated rooms in a box-body
combination with 10-12 workplaces
and works with up to 12 cameras.
For Baku Media Center, Broadcast
Solutions combined the OB van with a
supporting truck of the same size plus
generator trailer, offering maximum
flexibility in the field.
