A shift from engineering
to editorial
The change to cloud production
and for embracing AI tools as part of
production workflows is happening
now and it's moving fast ahead.
Product demands are shifting focus
from engineering to editorial. This
means leaving behind what they trust
and know best to embrace cloud and IP
based workflows, with lightweight and
scalable production systems.
Broadcasters need to let go of legacy
" linear-only " production workflows.
Stories need to be created for multiplatform publishing as a default, with
tools built for collaborating across
departments and for finding the media
assets they need for building great
stories.

Is AI here to take over jobs?

Integrating AI into the end-users
workflows can do exactly this,

producing good content.

centre media management platform,

images that they need for their stories
and manage their media assets from
their web browser.

Metadata is key
A major challenge for many
broadcasters and production houses
is that they sit on large media archives
not used. Files are archived without
or with very little metadata, making
it impossible to find what they need
when creating a story.
With introducing automatic logging
of metadata using AI technology
for object detection, speech-to-text
transcription, events detection, person
detection, and more, journalists and
editors can work smarter and find back
to their media assets in a faster way.

Bridge between legacy
NRCS and modern tools
