Josef Penker
appointed New
VP of Sales EMEA

Technologies has announced the
appointment of Josef Penker (41) as
Vice President of Sales EMEA, Business
Unit Communications. Penker will
lead the regional sales force for the
professional audio brands Dynacord,
Electro-Voice, RTS, and Telex. He takes
over the position from his predecessor
Jens Gaessner, who will move into the
video division within Bosch.

Penker brings a breadth of industry
experience to his new role, having
served most recently as Director of
Sales Europe for Dynacord, ElectroVoice,
RTS and Telex (2019-2021), and
prior to that as Sales Director for RTS
and Telex (2014-2019). Penker joined
Bosch in 2011 as Manager for the

MSc Media deploys Lawo solutions

recording company specializing in
high-quality sound recordings of choirs,
music ensembles and orchestras,
has equipped one of its two mobile
recording trucks with a Lawo mc²56
(MKIII) audio production console and
an A__stage64 AoIP node in anticipation
of an increasing demand for on-site
operations.
MSc's 48 fader console is optimized
for IP video production environments
with support for SMPTE 2110 and
AES67 / RAVENNA. Significant
operational features include Lawo
Button Glow, color backlit touch-sense
encoders, and color TFT displays
that
provide
operators
with
clear
color coding of channel strips for
excellent visibility and fast access,
even in low-light conditions. It is
paired with a Lawo mc² Micro Core,
which provides 192 DSP channels and
a 512×512 channel routing matrix.
The Lawo mc²56 (MKIII) with mc²
Micro Core also performs Waves
SoundGrid integration, and it provides
extensive diagnostic tools for remote
maintenance, including log files and
