From live event to screen, LiveU
and the cloud lead the way

I
t's great to be back at IBC and
we're looking forward to seeing
you there. We all know the massive
effect the pandemic had on trade
shows and the consequent inability
for the industry to get together in the
traditional way it had done. After the
significant success of NAB 2022 and
the joy of being able to sit down with
people, both those we already knew
and those whom we'd not met before,
we're really looking forward to IBC
and all that it holds for the industry.
Clearly, many things have changed
since we last met in Amsterdam. The
dominant and ongoing shift is the
move to the cloud and the creative
fluidity that brings. It will come as
little surprise to you that LiveU is
taking a leading position across
cloud
acquisition
production, from content
the
in
field with
the
ability to use cloud servers, to live
production capabilities and then on
to distribution. Just as
LiveU first
disrupted
the industry all the way
back in 2006, we're now
doing the same with
the cloud and we'll be
discussing this in detail
at the show.

is hardly
new, of course, but we're
only now experiencing
how much it continues
the opening up of our
industry,
allowing
streaming market.
