Designed

versions

NUGEN's
Haze and Location Haze functions.
These modules support the decisionmaking

Designed

color-coded

Operating in up to 7.1.2 channels
for the AAX, VST3 and AU formats,
Halo
Vision's
tools
include a
Correlation Matrix, Correlation Web
and Spectrum, a True Peak meter
phase relationships between every
channel, the Correlation Matrix also
features a larger arched meter for
more detailed analysis and anticorrelation
alerts at a user-defined
threshold. The Correlation Web
module shows a network of channels
with an interconnecting line between
each pair, which light up when the
phase relationship between the two
channels becomes anti-correlated.
With low frequencies
at
frequency
the
center and high frequencies on the
outer edge, the circular Frequency
Haze displays
content
across the surround
a
field, with
channel labels in typical speaker
positions. The Location Haze tool
provides
perceived
visualization of
the
location of the audio,
showing energy distribution across
the surround field, with brighter
sections indicating increases in the
strength. When set to
'combined'
mode,
the
Spectrum view displays a
level-against-frequency
graph for all channels in
one spectrum, while the
'groups' mode groups
channels
overlayed
into separate
spectrums.

Unlike a traditional
convolution
reverb, Paragon does not use static
IRs, which provides a wider scope
to transparently

spaces and manipulating IRs while
still maintaining true convolution
characteristics.
The plug-in's presets and browser
include " search, " " tagging " and
" favorite " functions, which are
especially
important
to people
working on movies and TV shows
with exterior scenes. The
browser also makes
it
easy for users to organize
presets, further expediting
the
creative
process.
Additionally, stereo width
controls
provide instant
stereo enhancement with
the assurance of superb
mono compatibility and no

unwanted artifacts. The mic distance
control adjusts the level of the early
reverb reflections, which impacts the
perceived distance of a sound to/
from the listener, without adjusting
the characteristics of the space itself.
Lastly, the modulation function gives
users a greater level of creativity and
a dynamic character to the reverb.

Paragon features spectral analysis

NUGEN's SigMod software provides
custom, simple signal architecture
with 13 single-process
plug-in
to
enhance
and
modules
DAW
functionality. It offers creative ways
to work by allowing users to easily
insert, swap and move modules to
fit to the correction, conversion and
tweaking of audio.
The
company
updates
to this
recently
unveiled
software, which
now includes mono and split-mono
modes, and a new 'Split' module that
allows users to switch between both
formats for greater flexibility within
the signal
architecture. Included
among the available modules
are Split, Mid/Side, Protect, Tap,
Crossover, Insert, Mute/Solo, Trim,
Switch, DC Off-Set, Mono, Phase, and
Delay.
Several of these modules offer easy
access to functionality that is often
either missing or difficult to access in
certain DAWs. With SigMod's intuitive
signal routing, the creative options
are endless. The software is available
in AAX, VST3, AU and AudioSuite
