Moving your newsroom

ur team at AP spends a lot of time
visiting outside newsrooms,
and what we hear consistently from
leaders
is how much they want
technology to help their journalists
publish content
across platforms
more quickly and easily. To put a story
out across multiple platforms today
often requires dozens of manual
steps and contact with many different
tools. Integrations that exist between
broadcast-oriented tools often don't
carry over into toolsets used for digital
and social content management.
The status quo in newsrooms today
means there are often splintered
story journeys that must begin in
a certain system or set of systems
depending on the desired output
platform.
This
slows
down the
delivery of news to audiences and
makes it difficult for news managers
to see what their teams have done
on a story across all output channels.
