KP-Series keypanels were also in
use, with DKP-4016 and DKP-3016
desktop units
joining the KP-3016 1RU model. Completing the setup
was a ROAMEO DECT-based wireless
intercom system with
TR-1800
beltpacks and their complementary
AP-1800 access points to ensure that
all communications would be crystal
clear.
Producing such professional
and
multinational
event
with
Polish production company 2Vision was responsible for the global broadcast signal from Katowice
coverage from the opening and
closing ceremonies as well as the
main panels, 2Vision needed to
synchronize every member of the
production team and provide them
with a clear way to communicate with
each other without disturbing other
team members. The RTS equipment
played a crucial role in ensuring that
everything went to plan, with the
ability to colorize groups of buttons
on the keypanels a particularly
important feature.
