At NAB Show New York DekTec is addressing the opportunities
provided by ATSC 3.0 and showing a new SDI product line...

TSC 3.0 brings increased
efficiency
in
using
available spectrum. Together,
the efficiencies delivered by
ATSC 3.0 and HEVC free up a
lot of bandwidth and, in turn,
allow broadcasters to consider
UHD (4K) delivery over the air
or other innovative new nonbroadcast services.
To support the industry's embrace
of ATSC 3.0, DekTec has created
compliant, full-featured modulators
and demodulators that are already in
use by most early adopters. DekTec's
solutions can provide in-depth RF
analysis of the modulated signal on
the receive side, as well as analyze
the received ATSC 3.0 content via the
StreamXpert® real-time transportstream analyzer.

there has been a lot more talk about
video formats like 1080P and 4K.
Seeing momentum around 4K gaining
both for content acquisition and for
distribution, DekTec has developed
solutions that include 4K waveform
monitoring on a standard PC.
DekTec's new SDI product line offers
I/O for ASI/SD/HD/3G-SDI all the way
to UHD on a single wire (12G). Also
added is support for metadata display
and HDR rendering to the waveform
monitor.

the format support and
functionality of DekTec's
products, the redesign of the
SDI line allows greater density, smaller
footprints, and much better pricing.

(with relay bypass) card, as well
as a PCIe card in 2-, 4-,

bidirectional ASI, SD-SDI, HDSDI, 3G-SDI, and even 12G-SDI.
