online parts buyers when they partnered with RevolutionParts
in the Fall of last year. Since then, they
spearheaded the program for the rest of the group
and they were able to fast-track their online success.
They have won several awards among other dealerships
within Canada, but this is their first RevolutionParts
Parts Excellence Award.
Having a designated parts website was crucial to the
success of their parts department. The traditional operations
in the parts department alone resulted in a sharp
decrease in parts sales. Lengthy parts forms, pick-ups at
the parts counter, and endless calls made it much harder
for parts departments to keep the business of parts
buyers. Brantford Toyota saw the need to change its
processes and pivot its business model to online.
With their parts website set up and receiving orders,
Brantford Toyota wanted to use additional tools to
help them grow their business and maintain it, so they
looked to change up their digital marketing. Previously,
they were using an in-house marketing team. In order
to " find ways to help move product faster through marketing
tools like PPC ads and website SEO, " they turned
to the RevolutionParts Marketing services. " Once we
went on board with that, it was night and day. "
Now that they have landed a web store strategy that
works for them, they are not stopping there. The next
step in their action plan is to grow their business on
additional online marketplaces. They would like to
grow into international parts and accessories sales and
on to other selling via Amazon and eBay. " Amazon will
be the next big step, and we can see it exploding even
more, " says Brantford Toyota. They are confident they
will be able to achieve that goal. " We're just proud of
our team - that they took it on board and went with it
and put the effort in to make it work and all of that. It
doesn't just happen because the plugin gets put in; it
takes real dedication and effort by everybody. "
