CareerBuilder Acquires Aurico
After launching a series of new Software-as-a-Service
(SaaS) solutions for recruitment, CareerBuilder is further
expanding its product line through the acquisition of
Aurico. Their offerings will now include solutions for
background screening.
CareerBuilder is a provider of HR software that works
with top employers to deliver human capital solutions.
Aurico is an NAPBS accredited and ISO 9001:2008 certified
background screening and drug testing company that
specializes in high-quality screening, compliance support,
and paperless solutions. Details of the acquisition were
not disclosed.
Cielo Supercharges Talent Acquisition for Energizer
Cielo, a recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) partner,
announced its partnership with battery and portable
lighting product manufacturer Energizer Holdings, Inc.,
The RPO specialist will support Energizer's global growth
goals by providing recruiting teams that will expand
hiring throughout Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East, South
Africa, Russia, China and Latin America.
During the three-year partnership agreement, Energizer
will leverage Cielo's technology-enabled candidate
assessment and selection process, employer brand services,
and ongoing consultation and training expertise.
iCIMS's Research Suggests U.S. Labor Market Will Tighten

Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) talent acquisition solutions
provider iCIMS recently released its quarterly U.S. Hiring
Trends Report, which analyzes the talent supply-todemand
ratio and the average number of days it takes
U.S. employers to fill open positions across various
industries, geographical locations, and company sizes.
This report provides actionable insights for employers and
job seekers, offers key data points on challenges within
the talent acquisition landscape, and presents quarterly
trends over the course of 2015.
Key findings in the report include:
* The information industry (which includes media and
telecommunications companies) had the highest average

It is with great sadness that we report the sudden
passing of David MacKay, president of Ceridian. MacKay
joined the business in March 1983 and held a number of
management positions in the U.S. and Canada before
becoming president of Ceridian Canada in 2007. He
created a number of highly successful HR solutions
including Canada's first internet payroll application. In
2013, he became president of the consolidated global
Ceridian business. MacKay believed in the value of 'giving
where we're living', and in 2013, he formed Ceridian's
Canadian charity, Ceridian Cares, to improve the quality
of life within communities across Canada. He is survived
by his two children, Kirsten and Reilly, and their mother,
Sheila.

GuideSpark Study Shows U.S. Employees Affected by
Financial Stress
GuideSpark released survey results that emphasize the
importance employees place on financial wellness services
and benefits when choosing a new job, staying in their
current job, and on their overall well-being.
The GuideSpark Financial Wellness Survey had 362
respondents; 54 percent were women, 46 percent were
men, 20 percent were Millennials and 37 percent were
aged 55 and older.
The report found that 75 percent of employees feel
impacted by financial stress and 81 percent of employees
are less likely to leave a company if they perceive it as
helping them improve their financial standing.
