Upside
job-hopping on their resume has the potential to
be negatively perceived by prospective employers,
86 percent say that it would not prevent them from
pursuing their professional or personal passions. In
fact, during the course of their professional careers,
53 percent of Millennials surveyed have held three or
more jobs. And while many have plans to stay in their
current jobs for three to five years (33 percent), many
respondents plan to leave after one to two years (20
percent).
When asked for the main reason they would leave their
company, Millennials responded saying they would
leave to pursue a completely different career path (37
percent), take a job with a competitor (25 percent), and/
or relocate to try living in a different city (22 percent).
Respondents echoed industry sentiments that jobhopping
has become the new normal. In fact, 55
percent of those surveyed acknowledged this claim and
explained that job-hopping has not negatively impacted
their organizations. However, of the individuals that
have witnessed the negative implications, 34 percent
noted a lowered employee morale in the office and
22 percent explained that their clients/customers have
taken notice.
RecruitiFi's survey examined more than 1,000 U.S. fulltime
Millennials on their careers to better understand
the significance that the millennial generation will
continue to have on recruiting, hiring, and retention.
Patriot National Acquires GHRR
Technology and outsourcing solutions provider Patriot
National, Inc. has entered into an agreement to acquire
pre-hire intelligence solutions provider Global HR
Research (GHRR). The transaction is expected to close
on or before August 25, 2015.
Fort Myers-based GHRR, which provides preemployment
background screening, assessment and
acquisition solutions, will augment Patriot's broad
employer service offerings, enabling improved frontend¬
risk management for Patriot's over 27,000
clients. The integration of Patriot's robust distribution
platform with GHRR's products and services will
present significant cross-selling opportunities. The
total purchase price will be $24 million in cash and $18
million in stock or approximately 6.5X 2016 adjusted
EBITDA.
Joining Together
Globoforce is partnering and integrating with IBM,
bringing the organizations together for solution
integration, sales and marketing efforts, and future
developments within IBM's Smarter Workforce partner
ecosystem. As part of the partnership, IBM will be
promoting Globoforce to IBM Kenexa Survey Enterprise
clients. An additional component of the partnership is
solution integration. Under the terms of the agreement,
Globoforce's social recognition data will be pushed
into IBM Kenexa Talent Insights. The pre-configured
integration, available to joint customers of IBM and
Globoforce, will provide greater insight into both
individual and team performance as well as cultural
values adoption. The integration capabilities can help
HR leaders reveal insights, drive business decisions and
navigate team dynamics. IBM and Globoforce will also
be working together on their shared vision for future
solution integration.

Beth Roekle is getting recognized for her work as she
was promoted to president of Advantage xPO North
America. She is responsible for delivery management,
growth, and expansion for the xPO business in North
America. She joined Advantage xPO in 2011 as vice
president of operations.
