Smart security monitoring
4D imaging radar
Cincoze's
(New Taipei
City, Taiwan)
DIAMOND
series embedded industrial
computers
have built-in
multiple
IEEE802.3at
PoE+ compatible ports,
each rated up to 25.5 W, which can meet each high-speed
IP camera's power requirements and stably drive all connected terminal devices. Suitable for any intelligent monitoring system from transportation and commercial monitoring to plant and power grid control rooms, the DIAMOND
series support SSD, HDD and mSATA storage options. The
series feature a PCIe x4 NVMe SSD slot, which can transfer
and access large amounts of data quickly. RAID options include RAID 0/1/5/10, providing effective, safe, repairable,
and cost-effective storage. According to Cincoze, data is
easy to collect, the system is easier to maintain, and plugand-play is supported. Options for 9/8th Gen Intel Xeon and
Core CPUs provide real-time analysis of images, rapid notification and warnings and monitor on-site conditions.
Arbe (Tel Aviv,
Israel) in partnership with Qamcom
(Gothenburg,
Sweden) expands
its 4D imaging radar solution to additional vehicle applications like
trucks, buses, delivery PODS, and industrial verticals. Arbe's technology enables accurate realtime inference of the vehicle's ego-velocity and mapping
and localization in unmapped areas. Post processing the
radar data allows obstacle detection and avoidance, tracking
and classifying objects in the entire field of view and determines their motion vector. It also provides precise and accurate free space mapping to distinguish drivable from nondrivable environments in any weather, lighting or challenging environment condition including debris and dust, which
challenges optical sensors. These perception capabilities are
particularly crucial to the agriculture, construction, transportation and truck verticals. Qamcom will offer the customization of the imaging radar systems based on the Arbe chipset
technology that will serve the unique function of each vehicle or application, in various implementations scales.

OEM receiver board
Die protection sensors
The AsteRx-m3 Sx OEM board
is a new dual-antenna receiver
that combines Septentrio's
(Leuven, Belgium) latest core
GNSS technology with the
SECORX-S sub-decimeter correction service, enabling convenient plug-and-play positioning. High-accuracy positioning is available directly out of the box, as GNSS corrections are automatically streamed to the receiver. This simplifies the user's GNSS receiver set-up process and eliminates
corrections service subscription and maintenance. Corrections
are delivered via internet or via L-band satellites, which ensures sub-decimeter service even in remote locations where
there is no easy internet access. With its dual antenna configuration AsteRx-m3 Sx offers heading information immediately from power-up allowing path optimization and fully informed navigation from mission start.

A line of new-generation sensors
for protecting stamping and forming press dies from Wintriss
Controls Group (Acton, Mass.)
includes broader-range proximity
sensors, short- and long-range
diffuse reflective sensors, a distance-settable optical triangulation sensor and an ultra-long infrared through-beam sensor.
According to the company, the new proximity sensors have
four times the range of similarly sized inductive proximity
sensors, in addition to proximity sensors that detect only nonferrous metals. New long-range diffuse reflective sensors use
infrared instead of visible light to minimize false actuations
caused by oil mist in the sensing field. IP-67 rated to withstand harsh in-die environments, the new sensors complement Wintriss' line of general-purpose electronic and electromechanical sensors.
