PRODUCT GUIDE
PROPULSION
Corrugated tubing
Solvay (Brussels, Belgium) and Maincor
Rohrsysteme GmbH & Co. KG
(Schweinfurt, Germany) have created a
technique to manufacture a more flexible,
extruded corrugated tubing with
varying wall thicknesses and diameters,
which allows greater light-weighting potential.
This advance will help meet new
thermal management design challenges
stemming from combining internal combustion
engine (ICE) and e-mobility technologies
including batteries, e-motors
and power electronics. This follows the
introduction of Solvay's Ryton PPS mono-layer
extrusion grade Ryton
XE3500BL, a high-performance resin
now fully optimized to produce corrugated
tubing. OEMs have specified this
durable, lightweight material to replace
heavier and bulkier rubber tubing/metal
clamp systems to develop more flexible
and agile solutions for fluid delivery lines.
Solvay's Ryton PPS has thermal stability
up to 200°C (392°F), dimensional stability
at elevated temperatures and in harsh
environments, mechanical strength, ductility,
toughness, chemical resistance and
is inherently flame retardant.

Stage V marine engines
FPT Industrial's (Turin, Italy) range of
Stage V-compliant marine engines now
include a new model and keel cooling
configurations. The engines are a further
extension of the marine engine line-up
for pleasure and commercial applications,
specifically tuned for meeting the
requirements of a wider audience. The
new C90 170 Stage V dedicated to
heavy-duty missions features an optimized
fuel map that avoids the need for
a urea-based aftertreatment system. The
new keel cooling system is a solution for
effectively cooling engines operating in
sandy, muddy and shallow water, without
the risk of obstructing the seawater
filters and damaging
the seawater
pumps. With the
latest C90 170
Stage V addition,
FPT Industrial further
expands its
global marine offering, including eight
models and outputs from 85 hp up to
1000 hp. This power unit is custommade
for the heaviest-duty commercial
missions and offers 170 hp at 2000 rpm
and 1105 Nm torque at 1000 rpm engine.

CAN and PCAN and Power Bus Splitterser Bus Splitters
Trombetta splitters offer serious cost savings while maintaining
the integrity of your CAN bus backbone. Our splitters provide node
connections to the CAN bus and replace standard Y connectors
and harnesses which saves space, connections, and labor.
Fewer connections means easier troubleshooting,
a smaller footprint, less weight, and reduced
CAN bus length. Built for extreme
conditions and rated 125°C.
