SAE Mentor Program
SAE International is launching a new and
improved members-only online mentor
program in Q2 of 2021. Improvements from
the previous program include:
* The ability to be automatically matched
based on our new vendor, Chronus,
MatchIQ technology. This is a
proprietary algorithm that uses the
criteria you input to select the best
match for your needs. Or, you can
choose your own match.
* The availability of a mobile ap: Touch
base with your mentor/mentee even
more efficiently with this app.
* The option of a guided experience: it's
your choice to create your own path, or
to use the built-in tools/guides to
support the experience.
Until the new program is launched, the
original program is closed. If you were
enrolled as a mentor or mentee, please
note that you will no longer see a mentor/
mentee profile. However, do not let that
deter a relationship you are in...you can
continue your relationship outside of this
forum until the new program is up and
running. At that time, you will be informed
of what steps will need to be taken to
participate in the new program.
In the meantime, you can continue to
participate in the virtual mentor mixers.

What's New
Local Sections, go for the prize!
Compete for bragging rights and section
rewards in SAE International's Local Section
Member Drive. Try to refer the most new
SAE Members with a chance to win $500
for your Section and also claim the title of
" 2021 SAE Local Section Member Drive
Champions! " Second prize if for $250 and
third for $100. Prizes for The SAE Member
Drive contest ends June 30, 2021, so move
now! In recruiting new members, tell them
they get 17% off their first year of
membership, normally $120. For each new
member recruited, the Local Section will

Free trial of Member Connection for
nonmembers
Member Connection is a place for SAE
Members to come together to discuss the
latest technologies in the industry and keep
up with the what's happening around SAE.
Starting June 1 through August 31, we are
offering a trial for nonmembers to try
Member Connection. This is a great
opportunity for your coworkers or other
colleagues to see what SAE Members are
talking about and partake in the discussions
themselves. All they have to do is sign in
through their mySAE account to get
started.
