This award, established in 2012, is
administered by the Rumbaugh Award
Selection Committee and consists of a
framed medal, a $750 honorarium, a
lifetime professional membership in SAE,
and a trip to a major SAE meeting where
the award is presented.

at how this award will enable me to remain
further involved in SAE throughout my
professional career. I am also highly
appreciative of Dr. Diane Peters, who
nominated, mentored, and developed me
throughout my years at Kettering
University. "
Wanless graduated in June 2020 with a
bachelor's degree in electrical
engineering with a minor in business. She
is now pursuing a M.S. in electrical
and computer engineering with an
Advanced Mobility focus from Kettering
University Online. She is currently working
as a manufacturing controls engineer at
Nexteer Automotive. n
