110-SR is designed to hold
its shape after being bent
around angles for installation

and repeatability are crucial. It is comprised of three
components: a silver-plated copper center conductor, a solid

its Centauri rugged
storage expansion
from parent company
One Stop
Systems (OSS), an
HPC solution designed
to accelerate
Level 4 driving
automation for autonomous trucks. Ressner states that
Centauri is a high-capacity PCIe Gen4 NVMe storage solution
in a compact, hot-swappable container that slides into
the chassis. Centauri can store up to 128 terabytes in an
eight-drive canister and the system is compatible with both
NVMe and SATA drives. Its PCIe Gen4 interface with NVMe
facilitates high-speed storage throughput at 3.5 to 5 times
faster data transfer compared to SATA performance. Other
features include dynamic fan speed control, a lightweight
aluminum enclosure, and IPMI 2.0-based system monitoring
via dedicated Ethernet.

Impedance testing
Rohde & Schwarz (Columbia, Maryland) released the LCX
meter for high precision impedance measurements. The
meter has a supported frequency range from 4 Hz to 10
MHz and is suitable for testing devices operating at conventional
50 or 60 Hz domestic power frequencies or 400
Hz for aircraft. The company states that the meter can
also be used for testing low frequency seismic sensors as
well as high-power communication circuits operating at
several Megahertz. Additional features of the LCX include
remote control and result logging, as well as rack mounting
for the instrument, and a full range of test fixtures for
handling components.

Apex.AI (Palo
Alto, California)
announced that
AGCO (Duluth,
Georgia) is incorporating
its Apex.
OS software development
kit
(SDK) into the
Fendt Xaver autonomous
farming
robot. Apex.AI states that its software has enabled
AGCO's engineering team to integrate several autonomous
driving components into the Xaver, including lidar object detection,
collision checking and planning. Apex.AI states that
its software framework and development kit has helped
AGCO shorten R&D timelines for the development of smart
agricultural solutions. The Fendt Xaver robot is reportedly
capable of planting seeds on farms 24 hours a day with centimeter
precision thanks to the Apex.OS software. Xaver reportedly
uses 90% less energy than conventional farming machines
thanks to its lightweight electric design, which produces
zero emissions.
