The body-on-frame architecture was
engineered for fullsize electric trucks.
It's wider in the middle to help carry the
battery pack and leverages the frame
rails as one method of battery pack
protection. The structure also features a
full-length underbody pan that helps
the 1500 REV to an estimated 0.34 Cd,
which Ram says is the most aerodynamic
in the class. Ride and handling
display that can be as large as 10 inches
and display several content areas at
once. One-pedal driving is available.
The truck will be sold in five trim
levels, including an all-new " Tungsten "
top trim. Some details still could
change for the 1500 REV, given the
time until the last quarter of 2024,
when production is slated to begin.
Deliveries likely would begin in 2025.
Ram didn't announce a price target,
but the REV XR's outsized battery
pack is going to demand a premium.
