cpA and possess a single broad peak at
}.MNP  520nm corresponding to the plasmonic dipole resonance of the MNP. The

introduction of a QD under the MNP,
with the separation gap of g = 1nm, modifies the scattering spectrum: a sharp Fano
feature emerges at the exciton transition
wavelength }.QD = 550nm.

Low-Impact Space Weather Sensors and the U.S. National
Security Spacecraft
Incorporating inexpensive, low-impact, targeted surface charging (plasma) and total ionizing dose
(radiation) sensors onto national security spacecraft to monitor real-time environments local to each
spacecraft will close a gap in the U.S. space weather observation network.

targeted space environment sensors, re-

view the systems engineering and acquisition challenges that exist in executing
