Laser Sensors
The optoNCDT 1420 laser sensors from Micro-Epsilon, Ortenburg,
Germany, are small, powerful, and fast. The measuring
rates have been doubled to up to 8 kHz, making them the fastest
sensors in their class. The new models are characterized by a
temperature stability of ±0.015 percent d.M./K and an ambient
light resistance of up to 50,000 lux. A high-performance D/A converter enables 16-bit
resolution at the analog output.

Fast SiC MOSFET
Navitas, Torrance, CA, has announced their new portfolio
of Gen-3 'Fast' (G3F) 650 V and 1,200 V SiC MOSFETs.
They are optimized for high-speed switching performance.
This will enable increasing the wattage of
next-generation AI power supply units (PSUs) up to 10
kW, and power per rack increase from 30 kW to 100-120 kW. They are developed
using a proprietary 'trench-assisted planar' technology and offer better-than-trench
MOSFET performance.
