american delivery ORDERS CHANGE Over the past two months, many Americans have been spending a majority of their time in their homes as they wait out stay-at-home orders. This has led to changes in their daily lives, including ordering more food for delivery. One of the nation's top food delivery companies, Grubhub, examined which foods rose in popularity on its platform during the first month of social distancing for most Americans. According to The Huffington Post, the company analyzed what food items were more frequently ordered in four regions of the country (Midwest, Northeast, South, West) from March 15 to April 14 and compared that with orders from February 15 to March 14.
