BAKING EXPO
2022
As the largest, most comprehensive baking industry event
in the Western Hemisphere, the Baking Expo is an event
where there is never a dull moment. The International Baking
Industry Exposition (IBIE) 2022 will offer the excitement
of competition, compelling displays of creativity and
acrobatics, industry awards, networking events and more.
These inspiring forums and events create a world of opportunities
for conversations with peers and connections
with new contacts. After years of cancelled events, we're all
eager to come back together at IBIE, to be inspired, to see
colleagues, to learn, to discover the latest innovations etc.
IBIE will be held Sept. 18-21 at the Las Vegas Convention
Center in with a full day of education on the Sept. 17.
Registration for the triennial event is available online, and
now through March 8 attendees can save up to 40% on
their expo hall pass. To learn more about exhibiting, contact
Exhibits@BakingExpo.com. Interested parties can then
access the online exhibit application and contract, submit a
deposit and select booth choices. Exhibit space is assigned
on a first-come, first-served basis.
ARTISAN MARKETPLACES
Back by popular demand: state-of-the-art Artisan Marketplaces,
filled with offerings that feed your passion and
creativity in a growing market. These interactive, innovative
marketplaces are hubs for unique experiences and
exceptional learning opportunities for bakers looking to
hone their skills, make connections and walk away inspired
for growth in every aspect of their business. Here you'll
find content curated for artisan and retail bakers, including
special tastings, Q&A sessions with leading experts and
demonstrations from Certified Master Bakers.
CREATIVE CAKE DECORATING COMPETITION
Creativity takes center stage, as six teams of elite professional
cake decorators challenge each other to a contest of
imagination, artistry and skill during one of baking's most
prestigious competitions. RBA's Creative Cake Decorating
Competition consists of four categories: wedding cake,
rolled fondant, sculpted, and a " surprise " category. Decorators
may apply for the competition via the IBIE website
beginning March 1.
IBIEDUCATE
IBIE's world-class educational program offers the latest
techniques and cutting-edge trends to inspire your creativity
and increase your sales. IBIEducate sessions are presented
by The French Pastry School, Bread Bakers Guild
of America, American Society of Baking and other leaders.
Choose from 100+ sessions, demos and hands-on workshops
covering the hottest topics across the entire professional
baking spectrum. Discover the expert insights you need
to take your bakery to the next level at the largest baking
event education program in the world. Programming and
sessions details will be available online in March.
INNOVATION SHOWCASE
In partnership with Sosland Publishing, IBIE's Innovation
Showcase debuts the newest products and technology that
can enhance your operations, all on display in one efficient,
state-of-the-art center. Entries include Ingredients, Equipment,
Packaging and Safety products that have not exhibited
at any previous IBIE event.
The expo provides a forum for manufacturers and suppliers
to showcase their solutions to thousands of baking
professionals from around the world, debut their innovations
and form meaningful connections across all segments
of the grain-based foods industry. The 2022 event will be
the first time this global audience has come together since
the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

the last Baking Expo, including supply chain issues and
ingredient shortages related to the coronavirus crisis. We're
hearing from attendees, suppliers and manufacturers who
are ready to reconnect, to share how they've navigated common
issues and to get back to doing businesses in person, "
