What in his vision of TMRW appealed most to the jury? Chef Lauren: Christophe was able to weave his theme of " ocean " throughout all of the assignments in a way that was very powerful and personal. Chef Dimitri: Christophe's dedication to his theme was exceptional. The jury could feel his passion and dedication with every assignment introduction and throughout the applications. Chef Martin: Christophe speaks with his heart! He is a man of the sea and ocean and you can tell it right away; the importance of this element in his life is huge. His dedication to protect, respect and highlight the ocean was really appreciated towards the whole competition. It was perfectly reflected in all the assignments and it was the common thread of the competition. What are the key strengths of this contestant to play out in the final? Chef Lauren: Christophe is an extremely skilled chocolatier, and will be a strong contender in the global final. His command of taste and texture will make him very competitive. Chef Dimitri: Christophe's key strengths for me were his common thread throughout his presentation, application, visual and taste. Everything was coherent and relative. Chef Martin: Definitely the taste and design are his key strengths. Christophe is a strong contestant and he is coming at the final with the idea of winning. He is also very involved with the theme and will be able to amaze a jury by mastering it. What was the most innovative technique or concept you saw from him? Chef Lauren: The innovation of weaving storytelling and his passion with chocolate and pastry. Chef Dimitri: #DESIGN, having his showpiece using minor gluing points and being put together in a " puzzle " technique where every piece fits easily. Chef Martin: Overall, we have seen a lot of techniques in the showpiece #design, but piping skills were also well mastered on the #taste assignment.
