It wasn’t long ago that the connection between cakes and football was a loose one at best. But this year, all that has changed—now there’s a sassy side to the NFL. Now in its second phase, the NFL is continuing a campaign toward a previously untapped market: women. And we’re not talking about the women who just come along with their spouses for the ride. There’s a whole group of female football fans who love football as much as the guys. And as much as they love football, they also love being girly—and that includes party hosting. So the NFL is tapping into this group with an allnew “homegating” trend. Football tailgating has been gaining momentum over the past few years, and now the tailgate party doesn’t have to leave consumers’ living rooms, especially with party planners at the helm. Hamburger Cupcake
Create hamburger cupcakes for homegating party display! 1. Prepare the cupcake, cut top off of cupcake and set aside. 2. Take the bottom portion and ice with a cake decorating tip #869 in chocolate icing. 3. Take the cupcake and roll iced top onto a handful of chocolate sprinkles. 4. To create the lettuce, use cake decorating tip #104 and pipe on green icing. 5. To create the ketchup, use cake decorating tip #6 and pipe on red icing. 6. To create the mustard, use cake decorating tip #4 and pipe on golden yellow. 7. Take the top of the cupcake and place onto the prepared bottom. 8.
