At the 2019 International Baking Industry Exposition, Goldman made a special
appearance in partnership with AB Mauri
where he signed autographs and crafted a
unique cake sculpture, Spilled Yeast. Made
of fondant, wood and foam, his sculpted,
oversized packet of iconic Fleischmann's

yeast is a unique reflection of the actual
7-gram package that consumers purchase
today.
" We are celebrating the art of baking, "

Award-winning restaurant chef Stephanie
Izard is dazzling the crowds with the
opening of her new bakery inside Little Goat
Diner in Chicago's West Loop. Sugargoat,
which is operated by Izard and pastry chef
Faith Taheny, opened Nov. 9 inside the diner
at 820 W. Randolph St. The bakery offers a
variety of cakes and more.
" This past spring, I baked more than I
have in years, " Izard said in a press release.
